Dynamic Network Quarantine

Quarantine Network Gateway (QNG) seen here is a component of DNQ |
ANTlabs Dynamic Network Quarantine (DNQ) solution suite was designed to address the current shortcomings in perimeter defense and enforcement of end-point security. It ensures that all users are compliant with corporate security policies before they are granted full access to the network. On connecting to the DNQ protected network, a network user is placed under quarantine while being checked for compliance with corporate security policies such as the latest system and security patches and virus definition updates. Non-compliant users remain in quarantine and are redirected to obtain the necessary updates, thus protecting all other users on the network.

Key Features of DNQ
+ Effective Security Quarantine
The existing network can be segmented into :
+ Quarantine Network, where all unchecked end-point terminals are initially placed under and have restricted access.
+ Secured Corporate LAN, where all the end-points which have been checked for rights of access and security compliance are moved into, and granted full access to the enterprise network.
+ Corporate Policy Enforcement
By providing a solution for the corporate to enforce its security policies through compliance checks, the DNQ solution increases the effectives of current security solution investments, giving better ROI and peace of mind to Corporate and Enterprises
+ High scalability and ease of deployment
DNQ works with any network vendor and can be easily inserted into current network infrastructure. No network reorganization is required during deployment of DNQ even in a distributed architecture where the enterprise has many branch locations. This makes the deployment easy and solution highly scalable.
+ Easy, Centralized management
All client terminals are assessed with centrally managed quarantine policies. Only one TMS (Threat Mitigation Server) and central policy server are required in the DNQ solution even for distributed deployment with multiple branch locations. This provides easy management for large enterprises with many roaming end point terminals and distributed locations as well as common centralized policies for all end users
+ Flexible API-based solution
DNQ has an API-based architecture which makes it easy for other third party vendors to integrate their products to work with DNQ for end point security, patch management and policy enforcement. This means high flexibility in the range of possible third party solutions which DNQ can work with and high customizability in the way administrators can define their end point access policies.
