+ Ease of Integration
The key design feature of the ANTlabs SMP is its ability to integrate with the existing service provider’s infrastructure without a need for an overhaul. The SMP interfaces with all Broadband Remote Access Servers (“B-RAS”) natively and also supports Cable infrastructure. This means service providers can implement service and content provisioning on a massive scale very quickly while protecting the infrastructure investment.

In addition, the SMP advanced domain management feature allows the subscriber pool to be partitioned by domains. This capability creates the opportunity for their existing service provider to resell the service management infrastructure to other ISPs.

+ New Services and Content
The SMP’s ease of integration also extends to the aggregation of content providers. A standard set of Application Programming Interfaces (“API”) is provided in the SMP which interfaces with all content providers via Simple Object Access Protocol (“SOAP”). This standardizes the process of interfacing and thus shortens the integration timeframe for a faster time-to-market for new services.

In addition, the SMP has the unique service provisioning capability that enables increasing bandwidth and quota on demand. This means subscribers can purchase extra bandwidth or quota for applications when they require in the same session. The SMP is also able to monitor the usage and inform the subscriber dynamically when the limits are approaching.

+ Total Pricing Flexibility
The ANTlabs SMP is designed to allow flexibility in building pricing models for the subscription services. It allows the service provider to create groups of services which can be further tagged as a basic or optional subscription service with a one-time setup or monthly recurring fee. In addition, the SMP also allows the service provider to schedule pricing events such as price discounts for a promotional period. Other types of fees such as service (de)activation, late payment fees, etc, are also supported. 

+ One Subscriber, One Account, One Bill
With the ANTlabs SMP’s transaction management and billing system, it doesn’t matter how many services a customer is subscribed to, all transactions with any number of content providers can be consolidated into a single bill. This significantly enhances the customer’s billing experience. The SMP’s tri-partied transaction system involves a secure authorization-acknowledgement-accounting process which ensures that there are no discrepancies in transaction accounting with the subscriber, broadband provider and content provider.
