Blurred travelers with wheeled luggage walking through a bright airport concourse, overlaid with glowing flight and Wi-Fi icons joined by network lines

Operated by Ogero · Beirut, Lebanon

One Airport Network, Free and Paid Wi-Fi

Ogero needed the Beirut airport network to do two jobs at once: give every passenger a complimentary session, and sell a better one to travelers who need it — online by card, or in person through an agent. ANTlabs delivered both from a single gateway and a single portal.

The problem

One plan for everybody serves nobody well

A single undifferentiated Wi-Fi plan forces an impossible choice. Set the session generous enough for the traveler who needs to work, and the operator absorbs the cost for every casual user. Set it tight enough to control cost, and the passenger who genuinely needs bandwidth has nowhere to go.

Ogero also had to serve more than one kind of location. An airport terminal and a public Wi-Fi site have different dwell times, different user expectations and different commercial logic — but the operator wanted one managed environment behind both.

A portal built for choice, not just one path

A customized guest Wi-Fi portal with several authentication choices for different user preferences.

Free and paid, not one flat plan

Both complimentary access and paid Wi-Fi options, rather than one flat plan.

One managed environment behind it all

Centralized gateway and location configuration, DHCP service, VLAN scopes and high-availability connectivity.

Two ways to pay, not just one

Premium access purchasable by online card payment and through agent-assisted voucher sales.

Wi-Fi that talks to the rest of the business

External email, SMS, subscriber authentication and RADIUS accounting integrations for the expanded service.

Location-aware, not one-size-fits-all

Different complimentary access durations and menu options for airport versus public Wi-Fi locations.

The solution

A single portal to manage Wi-Fi in all sites

ANTlabs Cloud Services (ACS) is the cloud-based platform that gives business owners and IT teams one place to manage Wi-Fi across every site. A network-health map shows the status of each site and the reason for any failure, while multi-level, role-based administration keeps every team to the access it needs. Administrators can also be notified by SMS or email if any module goes down.

The impact

What the deployment changed

For the passenger

  • A real choice at the portal: take the complimentary session, buy a bundle online, or pick up a code from an agent on the floor.
  • Form-based or social-media authentication for free access, so travelers are not blocked by a single login method.
  • Access that reflects where they are — airport and public locations run their own durations and menus.

For the operator

  • Two monetization paths from one platform: card-based bundles and agent-sold vouchers, including passengers who cannot or will not pay online.
  • A branded, configurable onboarding experience rather than a generic default portal.
  • Central configuration bringing gateway, location, plans, landing pages, DHCP and VLAN settings into one managed service environment.
  • Documented HA, QoS, accounting and lawful-intercept modules supporting operational and regulatory obligations.
  • Wi-Fi connected to the wider business through subscriber verification, messaging and RADIUS accounting integrations.
