RAI Amsterdam: One Network for Every Event

Centralized, event-focused connectivity for a MICE venue. One platform to provision, brand and monitor Wi-Fi for every event, from visitors and exhibitors to organizers and VIPs.

Overview

Every event changes the network

RAI Amsterdam is a multifunctional exhibition and conference center on Europaplein in Amsterdam, hosting international trade fairs, conferences and public events. Its own website describes more than 110,000 m² across 12 multifunctional halls plus rooms and lounges, and an average of 1.5 million guests a year, from fairs of about 50,000 people to meetings of ten.

Each event brings its own visitors, exhibitors and organizers across halls and shared venue areas. Every event needs its own portals, service plans and bandwidth limits, and the network has to stay usable when traffic surges. ANTlabs gives event venues one platform to provision, brand and monitor connectivity centrally, event after event.

The solution

One platform for every event

ANTlabs SG5 and ASP suit a venue like RAI Amsterdam, where the network has to be prepared again for every event. SG5 is the edge gateway: it handles visitor access, authentication, bandwidth control and high-availability options where visitors connect. ASP is the centralized platform above it: it manages locations, portals, service plans, monitoring and reporting from one dashboard, and its Event Manager module schedules the setup for each event. Together they give the venue team one way to provision, brand and monitor Wi-Fi, event after event.
