Update #14 – SG 4 Kernel Patch
This update adds the following enhancements:
  • Upgraded system modules which address the system stability issues under high-load environments
  • New system modules address the dirty cow vulnerability CVE-2016-5195
  • Upgraded client management module’s plugin for a more efficient client migration function between different zones
  • Upgraded bandwidth management module to provide better system stability
  • Added a new feature to allow the gateway to delink from ACS
  • Added a new feature to enable/disable bandwidth configuration on the gateway when linked to ACS
  • Enhanced ACS module with diagnostics and remote control capability
  • Upgraded SSL modules to address various security vulnerabilities
  • Upgraded the gateway Facebook API from v2.3 to v2.8 to address changes in API call format
This update fixes the following bugs:
  • Failure to generate the bandwidth utilization report (log/system/net_qos.log) accurately under the system high-load state.
  • Upgraded Security module to address the SWEET32: Birthday attacks against TLS ciphers with 64bit block size security vulnerability (CVE-2016-2183)
  • PMS guest log maintenance process fail due to system directory structure change
  • Fixed a bug that prevented the Console user from reading PMS logs
  • Fixed a bug in the DHCP module that does not set the configured Relay agent IP address
  • Fixed a bug that failure to chain load at USB recovery media during system snapshot command executed
Note: This update will automatically reboot the gateway upon patching
